In a far village near rocky mountains, alive with the laughter of children and the fragrance of blooming flowers, lived Sarah and Amir, siblings with boundless imagination. Their world was like a huge playground full of endless possibilities, and they often wondered about all the amazing colors around them.
One bright morning, as the sun peeked through their window, Sarah, with eyes sparkling, said to Amir, "Imagine if everything was red, like my favorite strawberry jam!" In a blink, the world in their imagination transformed. The trees looked like they were painted with strawberry sauce, the sky turned red like a rose, and a playful squirrel in their garden turned as red as a cherry. In their playful red world, Sarah and Amir chased the squirrel, now as red as a ripe strawberry. They laughed joyfully, but soon noticed something puzzling. "Where are the green leaves?" Sarah asked, looking at the all-red trees. "And the red apples are hiding from us!" Amir added, trying to spot apples among the red leaves. They realized that when everything was red, it was hard to tell things apart. The red roses in their garden blended in too, looking just like the red grass. "It's like playing hide and seek with colors!" Sarah giggled. But they missed seeing the different colors of the leaves, flowers, and fruits they loved.
Next, Amir, with his thoughts as deep as the ocean, longed for a blue world. He said: "Now let's imagine the world in blue, like the ocean!". A wave of blue washed over everything. The grass swayed like blue waves, the sun shone like a transparent blue stone, and the street cat they often petted turned as blue as the sky. It was like living in an underwater world, but without the fish! They enjoyed the novelty, but soon missed the warmth of the yellow sun and the variety of colors in their real surroundings.
Curious about another color, they chose yellow, bright and cheerful like a field of sunflowers. The world burst into a sea of yellow. The houses looked like blocks of butter, the roads like ribbons of lemon zest, and the night sky glowed like a golden lamp. It was a dazzling sight, but too bright for their liking. They yearned for the calm blue sky and the variety of colors they used to see in their garden.
Resting under the shade of a large tree, they witnessed a magnificent rainbow arching across the sky. Inspired, they talked about how beautiful it was with every color of the rainbow. They realized that the real world was more beautiful with a mix of all colors. Each color had its place and purpose.
Their mother joined them, her eyes reflecting the colors around her. "God created a world full of different colors for a reason," she explained eagerly. "Every color has a role, a beauty of its own. Like the colors in a rainbow, the beauty of our world lies in its variety." Sarah and Amir looked around, their eyes wide with wonder. They saw their world anew, as a big beautiful painting, filled with lots of different colors, each one making it more special and pretty. It made them think, what if this painting had only one color?”
